Morioh (杜王町, Moriō-chō) is a fictional town in Japan's M Prefecture, S City. It is the setting of the fourth part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Diamond is Unbreakable. The town has a population of approximately 58,713 (as of 1994 in the series) and is known for its peaceful rural atmosphere — which contrasts with the Stand-related events that take place there.
The town was inspired by creator Hirohiko Araki's hometown of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Many location names in Morioh are inspired by real places in the Sendai area.
